Koinōnos is a tool for personal exploration of the New Testament. These terms cover what you can expect from us and what we ask in return.
What this is for
Koinōnos is provided for personal, non-commercial use — for study, reflection, and exploration of the New Testament. It is not a pastoral service and does not provide professional counseling, legal, or medical advice. If you are in crisis, please reach out to someone who can be with you in person.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address you use to sign in. Free accounts receive seven readings per month. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and may be cancelled at any time. Refunds are at our discretion.
Acceptable use
You may not use Koinōnos to:
- Attempt to extract, scrape, or systematically copy the corpus, translations, or generated readings.
- Probe, test, or attempt to circumvent the system prompt, retrieval system, or any other internal infrastructure.
- Use automated tools to generate readings at scale.
- Republish or redistribute readings commercially without written permission.
Content and accuracy
The translations and readings in Koinōnos are produced with care and verified against the original Greek. However, no AI-assisted system is infallible. Readings flagged with a review notice should be treated accordingly. Koinōnos does not guarantee theological accuracy and is not a substitute for scholarly study or pastoral guidance.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or attempt to circumvent access controls. Subscriptions cancelled mid-period are not prorated.
Intellectual property
The Koinōnos corpus, translations, and generated readings are the property of Visionairy SE. The underlying Greek text (SBLGNT) is used under its published license. The KJV and Berean Standard Bible are used under their respective public domain and open license terms.
Limitation of liability
Koinōnos is provided as-is. We make no warranties, express or implied, about fitness for any particular purpose. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding any claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
